The family of 4 travelers started their journey from Dehradun on 22 May 2026 in a comfortable Kia Carens with our experienced cab captain Mr. Harshmani. From the first day till the final drop at Haridwar, the entire trip was managed smoothly with safety, comfort, and proper travel support
Day 1: Dehradun to Barkot – Mussoorie & Kempty Falls
The journey started from Dehradun city towards Barkot. On the way, guests enjoyed the beautiful mountain roads of Mussoorie and visited the famous Kempty Falls. The cool weather and green valleys made the first day refreshing and exciting.
By evening, the guests reached Barkot and checked into Moon Light Resort at Kharsali near the Yamuna riverside. The resort offered peaceful valley views, clean rooms, and delicious local food.

Day 2: Yamunotri Dham Darshan
Early morning, the guests traveled to Janki Chatti and started the 5 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. The trek route was full of mountain waterfalls, fresh air, and spiritual energy.
After successful Yamunotri Darshan, the family returned back to Barkot and relaxed at the same hotel.
Yamunotri Temple is the first dham of the Char Dham Yatra and is dedicated to Maa Yamuna.
Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi – Kashi Vishwanath Temple Visit
On Day 3, the journey continued towards Uttarkashi. On the way, the family visited the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi.
The peaceful atmosphere of the temple gave positive energy to all travelers.
Night stay was arranged in Uttarkashi.
Day 4: Gangotri Dham Darshan
The family started early at 4 AM for Gangotri Dham Darshan. The route to Gangotri is one of the most scenic roads in Uttarakhand with river views, pine forests, and snow-covered peaks.
After darshan at Gangotri Temple, guests returned to Uttarkashi and stayed at Manokamna Palace Hotel.
Special thanks to Mr. Saurabh Rana for providing neat rooms, tasty food, and warm hospitality. Guests especially loved the traditional Pahadi Thali, Bhang Ki Chutney, and fresh Chaas.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Sersi via Harsil Valley
This day was full of beautiful mountain landscapes and peaceful valley views. The family enjoyed the beauty of Harsil Valley while traveling towards Sersi.
By evening, guests reached Hotel Adiyogi in Sersi.

Day 6: Kedarnath Trek & Evening Aarti
The most emotional and challenging part of the journey started early morning from Sersi to Sonprayag and then to Gaurikund by local shuttle service.
From Gaurikund, the family started the Kedarnath trek slowly and safely. Even though the trek was difficult, all four travelers completed it successfully with strong faith and determination.
In the evening, they attended the divine Kedarnath Aarti which became the most memorable moment of the entire trip.
The peaceful atmosphere of Kedarnath Temple cannot be explained in words.
Day 7: Kedarnath Darshan & Return to Sersi
Early morning, the family stood in line for Baba Kedarnath Darshan and completed the spiritual prayers successfully.
After darshan, they trekked back to Gaurikund and returned to Sersi for rest and relaxation.
Day 8: Sersi to Badrinath via Chopta & Tungnath
The journey continued towards Badrinath with a stop at Chopta. Guests enjoyed the beautiful Tungnath trek surrounded by Himalayan mountain views.
By evening, the family reached Badrinath and attended the evening aarti at Badrinath Temple.
The spiritual environment of Badrinath Dham gave peace and positivity to everyone.
Day 9: Mana Village & Saraswati River Visit
Early morning darshan at Badrinath Temple was followed by sightseeing at Mana Village, the last Indian village near the China border.
Guests also visited the Saraswati River and enjoyed the beauty of the region before traveling towards Pipalkoti for night stay.
Day 10: Pipalkoti to Haridwar – Journey Completed
On the final day, the family returned safely to Haridwar with unforgettable memories of Char Dham Yatra 2026.
